Cool As Always
I don’t dare test you,
just you; one nail fits perfectly
In the slit between my two-teeth, and
nonsensical and plainly I,
Cool as always, slip through
My sliced front that I
Love you, no matter how you treat me.
And then I think a quarter finally
Fits.
You smile, cool as always
Only In Dreams
In my dreams I take the wheel,
caress the side. With one quick
finger I feel the carcass of that
leather, it is now skin,
And I am unable to go further,
I postulate my affection, I argue
my worth to you, I put it for sale, yes,
but in my dreams I take the wheel—
and now it is wood,
and I am in a pit of the road
again,
till the next dream I’ll take the wheel

hmmm i love these.
